Yallop Institute of Foreign Languages and Cultures University of Tartu yallop@ut.ee ***General Introduction*** This dataset contains the practical application within writing pedagogy of data obtained from participating students in the USA as part of the Research project: Developing a ready-made pedagogical framework to support the long-term academic writing skills of university students in Estonia and the US funded by Estonian Research Council PUTJD1121. ***Purpose*** This dataset has a pedagogical purpose of improving academic writing pedagogy through giving guidance on how to conduct useful writing group meetings. ***Audience*** It is intended for writing practitioners who employ peer feedback on their courses. ***Description of the data in this data set*** It provides instructor and student guidance on how to conduct a useful writing group meeting to elicit desirable peer feedback. The guide contains three sections: facilitator guidelines, student guidelines, and instructions for a reflective group workshop.
